The book presents the results of the CONCISE project. Based on qualitative and quantitative studies conducted with citizens in Italy, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia and Spain, the book presents data and analyses related to the ways in which citizens of the European Union acquire scientific knowledge, consider the sources and channels of information they use and the effects of this knowledge on their beliefs, opinions and perceptions.
