The European project Trustworthy, Reliable and Engaging Scientific Communication Approaches (TRESCA) has as its main objective the understanding of the expectations of the public and experts on science communication.
The activities will involve researchers, journalists and public decision-makers to develop effective public communication practices and promote better information quality, transparency and the design of innovative and effective tools.
The project will use qualitative and quantitative research methods involving all the protagonists of the scientific communication processes.
The project is coordinated by the University of Rotterdam and has Observa, the Spanish CSIC, the Center for Social Innovation in Vienna, Science Business Publishing Ltd (UK) and Kurzgesagt – In a Nutshell GMBH (D) as partners.

The RETHINK-TRESCA final event held in Brussels on 21-23 March 2022. The conference focuses on how we can strengthen the connections between various stakeholders and publics in order to more effectively respond to current and future uncertainties.
