The Seventh World Conference on The Future of Science, entitled Mind: the Essence of Humanity, will take place in Venice, September 18-20, 2011.
Some of the world’s most eminent scientists from various disciplines will gather together to explain and discuss new findings about human mind: its biological evolution and the origins of language, the physiology of the brain and how memory works, the relevance of emotions and empathy in personal and social life, intersections between artificial and natural intelligence.
Among the speakers Massimiano Bucchi who will speak about The Mind in Public: Media Discourses and Public Perception, presenting new data from the Science and Technology in Society Monitor .
The Future of Science is a cycle of annual international conferences jointly organized by Fondazione Umberto Veronesi, Fondazione Silvio Tronchetti Provera and Fondazione Giorgio Cini.
