Is it true at all that Italian media do not engage so much with science? What space is left for science and technology in comparison with other topics? Which are the most addressed scientific-technological issues? And how are these issues discussed? Science in the Media Monitor was created to answer such questions.
Science in the Media Monitor, the first systematic monitoring of the coverage of science and technology in national newspapers, will be presented at the Genoa Science Festival.
The appointment is for Saturday, October 31st at 15:00 at the Palazzo Ducale in Genoa in the Minor Consiglio Hall, for the Conference “When science cause a headlines news”. Among the speakers: Frederico Neresini (University of Padua), Massimiano Bucchi (University of Trento), Luciano Maiani (president of the National Research Council) and Giulio Anselmi (president of ANSA).
