The Observa Science in Society Monitor on Superquark again.
As in 2005, this year again the Rai Uno Science tv programme Superquark features results of Observa’s surveys on Italians attitudes and opinions towards science, research and technology innovation.
On the 13th of July, Italian research policies issues and brain drain will be discussed from the citizens point of view.
On the 3rd of August, the attitudes of Italian to risk perception will be presented. Do Italians fear most nuclear incident or bird flu? Do we consider drinking alcohol more dangerous than smoking?
On the 17th of August the theme will be oil price increase and its influence on car use
Lastly, the 7th September episode will be devoted to highlight Italians opinions towards the the fall in the birth rate and role of science and technology in dealing with it.
