SPECIAL EDITION: Twenty years of science in society
The twentieth edition of the «Science, Technology and Society Yearbook», edited by M. Bucchi, G. Pellegrini, A. Rubin and B. Saracino, is characterized by its particular richness of content, offering a broad overview of current dynamics and the most significant trends in the relationships between science, technology and society: public perception, trust towards scientists and research institutions, sources of information and orientations towards technologies. The volume also illustrates the main research activities of Observa Science in Society at a national and international level, the events that have most marked the public debate on science and technology and offers an annotated list of the films and TV series that have described science and technology over the last two decades.
The Yearbook was be presented on Monday 18 March, at 5.45 pm, at the Central Library of Turin with the participation of M. Bucchi and G. Pellegrini.
