Moreover, the recent destabilisation of international balances has intensified the debate on energy supply sources. it is well known that fossil fuels are one of the main causes of global warming, but it is difficult to give up their use, at least in the near future. How is climate change perceived by Italians and who do they consider the most reliable interlocutors to counter it? What are their opinions on renewable energy and nuclear energy? What would Italians do to reduce pollution and traffic in cities?<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Science Technology and Society Yearbook 2023<\/em> (ed. Il Mulino) is characterised by its focus on the theme of ecological transition. The<strong> nineteenth edition<\/strong> also offers an unprecedented comparison with <strong>Germany<\/strong>, one of the main European realities. The text is also accompanied by an insert of coloured <strong>infographics<\/strong> summarising the most relevant data.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Yearbook 2023<\/em> was presented on Wednesday 22 February 2023 at the <strong>University of Turin<\/strong>.
