{"id":34235,"date":"2021-04-28T14:30:45","date_gmt":"2021-04-28T14:30:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.observa.it\/?p=34235"},"modified":"2024-05-07T09:40:07","modified_gmt":"2024-05-07T09:40:07","slug":"tresca-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.observa.it\/en\/tresca-2\/","title":{"rendered":"TRESCA"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The European project\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/trescaproject.eu\/\"><strong>Trustworthy, Reliable and Engaging Scientific Communication Approaches (TRESCA)<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0has as its main objective the understanding of the expectations of the public and experts on\u00a0<strong>science communication<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n<h4><strong>\r\n\r\n<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The activities will involve\u00a0<strong>researchers<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>journalists<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>public decision-makers<\/strong>\u00a0to develop effective public communication practices and promote better information quality, transparency and the design of innovative and effective tools.<\/p>\r\n<h4><strong>\r\n\r\n<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project will use\u00a0<strong>qualitative and quantitative research methods<\/strong>\u00a0involving all the protagonists of the scientific communication processes.<\/p>\r\n<h4><strong>\r\n\r\n<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project is coordinated by the University of Rotterdam and has\u00a0<strong>Observa<\/strong>, the Spanish\u00a0<strong>CSIC<\/strong>, the\u00a0<strong>Center for Social Innovation<\/strong>\u00a0in Vienna,\u00a0<strong>Science Business Publishing Ltd<\/strong>\u00a0(UK) and\u00a0<strong>Kurzgesagt \u2013 In a Nutshell GMBH<\/strong>\u00a0(D) as partners.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">***<\/p>\r\n<h4><strong>Connections, Conversations and Science Communication \u2013 The future of public trust in times of uncertainty<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n<p>The <strong>RETHINK-TRESCA final event<\/strong> held in Brussels\u00a0on <strong>21-23\u00a0March<\/strong> 2022.
