\"\"<\/a>The conference programme of the XII International Public Communication of Science and Technology (PCST) Conference<\/strong>, Quality, Honesty and Beauty in Science and Technology Communication<\/em>, which will be held in Florence from the 18th to the 20th of April, 2012, is now on-line. The programme lists all registered speakers and titles of papers and sessions. It also includes abstracts of panel sessions.<\/p>\n

PCST 2012 in Florence offers a very attractive scientific programme<\/strong>, with leading international keynote speakers, over 95 sessions of papers, debates and ‘show tell and talk’ sessions, performances, videos and a special meeting for PhD students. Participants have also access to the rich social and cultural programme<\/strong>, including an opening event and cocktail in one of the most beautiful and prestigious Florence palaces, Palazzo Vecchio, and a conference reception in the heart of the city.<\/p>\n

Confirmed Speakers<\/strong> are: Piero Angela (RAI, Italian Public TV), Felice Frankel (MIT), Helga Nowotny (President, European Research Council), Semir Zeki (University College London), Martin W Bauer (LSE, editor of journal Public Understanding of Science<\/em>), John Durant (MIT Museum of Science), Edna Einsiedel (University of Calgary), Bruce V Lewenstein (Cornell University), Ilaria Capua (OIE-FAO Reference Laboratory for Avian Influenza and IZSVe), Massimiano Bucchi (Universit\u00e0 di Trento).<\/p>\n
