I risultati dell\u2019indagine internazionale ROSE) <\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Edited by Iulia Nechifor and Giuseppe Pellegrini, <em>Women and Science 2010. Italy and the International Context <\/em>is a new collection of data and information on the presence of women in research and public attitudes to gender issues in science in Italy and in Europe.<\/p>\n<p>The book <em>Science and New Generations<\/em>, edited by Federico Neresini, Stefania Crovato and Barbara Saracino, deals with the results of ROSE \u2013 <em>Relevance of Science Education<\/em>, an international comparative research project meant to shed light on factors of importance to the learning of science and technology (S&#038;T) \u2013 as perceived by the learners, specifically by students towards the end of secondary school (age 15).<\/p>\n<p>The presentation of the books takes place in Venice on the occasion of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.observa.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/10.11.2010_WSDPD.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>World Science Day for Peace and Development<\/em><\/a>. Established by UNESCO in 2001, the WSDPD is celebrated on 10 November each year.
