Italy and the International Context<\/strong> and <strong>Science and New Generations (Scienza e nuove generazioni. I risultati dell\u2019indagine internazionale ROSE)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Edited by Iulia Nechifor and Giuseppe Pellegrini, <em>Women and Science 2010. Italy and the International Context<\/em> is a new collection of data and information on the presence of women in research. It will prove useful for those concerned with public attitudes to gender issues in science, and changing gender relations in science and research in Italy and abroad. The new edition follows up on the successful first edition of 2008.<\/p>\n<p>The book has been produced in collaboration with the UNESCO Venice Office \u2013 UNESCO Regional Bureau for Science and Culture in Europe, Ufficio Scolastico per la Regione Lombardia, Studio Pirovano Consulting and Associazione FAIR.<\/p>\n<p>The book <em>Science and New Generations<\/em>, edited by Federico Neresini, Stefania Crovato and Barbara Saracino, deals with the results of ROSE \u2013 Relevance of Science Education, an international comparative research project meant to shed light on factors of importance to the learning of science and technology (S&#038;T) \u2013 as perceived by the learners, specifically by students towards the end of secondary school (age 15).
